Sales Team Leader – Industrial Refrigeration
The Sales Team Leader – Industrial Refrigeration is based in Riyadh and is responsible for driving sales and project conversion across the KSA market by delivering optimized refrigeration solutions. In addition to hands-on technical sales responsibilities, the role includes leading, guiding, and supporting a small sales team to ensure consistent performance and capability development.
The position focuses on application analysis, system selection, and techno-commercial proposal development aligned with customer requirements. Working closely with sales, execution, and service teams, the role ensures successful project delivery, order conversion, and customer satisfaction. The role also involves identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, achieving sales and margin targets, and closing opportunities. A strong technical background, solution-driven sales approach, and team leadership capability are essential to succeed in this role.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Act as a technical sales specialist for Industrial Refrigeration systems, ensuring customer requirements are translated into optimal engineering solutions.
- Analyze customer applications and recommend appropriate refrigeration systems based on cooling capacity, energy efficiency, load calculations, compliance standards, and lifecycle cost.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, system proposals, and solution demonstrations to consultants, contractors, end users, and key decision-makers.
- Provide pre-sales engineering support, including product selection, system configuration, preliminary design input, and technical clarifications.
- Support post-sales activities by coordinating with service, execution, and CS teams to resolve technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify, develop, and track new refrigeration projects and business opportunities across KSA, converting leads into secured orders and revenue.
- Collaborate with account managers and internal stakeholders to develop competitive technical-commercial proposals, tenders, and cost estimates.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts (monthly and annual) and regularly update opportunities and commitments in Salesforce/CRM.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor solutions, and regulatory standards, and provide structured feedback to product and solution teams.
- Promote Daikin and affiliated refrigeration brands and turnkey solutions, ensuring alignment with customer applications and project requirements.
- Provide technical guidance, during solution development and customer engagements.
- Monitor performance, pipeline health, and deal progression, and support corrective actions where required.
