IT Manager

The IT Manager is responsible in planning, organizing, and managing staff and overall functions to ensure a stable operation of the organization’s infrastructure. The position also  leads IT projects efficiently and effectively and supports the Company’s users with Company communication and IT infrastructure and systems.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including managing staff, resources, and budgets to ensure the effective delivery of IT services and support.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the security, reliability, and integrity of IT systems and data.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their IT needs and priorities, and develop IT strategies and roadmaps to support business objectives.
  • Lead IT projects and initiatives, from planning and budgeting to implementation and evaluation, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and service level agreements to ensure cost-effective and high-quality IT services.
  • Monitor IT performance metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing measures to optimize IT operations and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT security, data privacy, and governance.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to IT staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in IT, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and making recommendations for adoption.
  • Represent the IT department in meetings and discussions with senior management, communicating IT strategy, priorities, and achievements.

Job Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong technical knowledge across various IT domains including networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, and software development.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills to effectively lead a team of IT professionals and coordinate their efforts towards common goals.
  • Proficiency in IT project management methodologies and tools to successfully plan, execute, and oversee IT projects from initiation to completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders, communicate technical concepts effectively, and build strong relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to analyze complex IT challenges, devise innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
