Production Officer
The Production Officer assists in completing the production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Job Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
-
Develop and execute production plans in accordance with production schedules, ensuring timely and efficient manufacturing operations.

Oversee the operation of production equipment and machinery, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.

Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and identify any deviations or defects, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Inventory & Resource Management

Manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products, coordinating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure adequate stock levels.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize production costs.
Team Leadership & Training
-
Provide training and guidance to production staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company policies and procedures in all production activities.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance

Troubleshoot production issues or equipment malfunctions, implementing solutions to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production reports, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory records.
Continuous Improvement & HSE

Continuously monitor and evaluate production processes, seeking opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance overall production performance.

Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.
Job Knowledge & Skills
-
Practical understanding of industrial/manufacturing principles, standards, methods, and practices.

Experience with lean concepts, familiar with manufacturing, safety, and quality process concepts, practices, and procedures.

Strong knowledge of organizational workflow and ability to delegate by assigning responsibilities and formulating schedules.
-
Analytical skills to monitor production output and check for compliance.
-
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience

Minimum 5 years working experience
-
3 years relevant working experience
-
2 years GCC experience is a plus
