Maintenance Supervisor
The Maintenance Supervisor works under the general guidance and supervision of the Maintenance Engineer. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating workers in maintaining and repairing electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and other outlet requirements to ensure continuity of operations are performed in a safe manner. This role also ensures adequate inventories of tools, supplies, and parts are maintained to accurately repair all equipment.
Job Responsibilities
Maintenance & Breakdown Management

Manage breakdowns and maintenance to meet internal customer requirements, ensuring adherence to defined safety and quality standards.

Coordinate the execution of planned preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment performs as required.

Review equipment deficiencies and take corrective action.

Execute the planning and execution of planned maintenance of all outlet equipment to ensure zero downtime of operation.
Safety & Compliance

Conduct duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures as specified in manufacturer’s recommendations and/or Quality System.

Inspect machinery regularly with respect to safety issues including but not limited to ground and trip hazards, non-functioning lights, broken pieces, and exposed wiring.

Implement defined and laid down Safety systems and safe practices of work, continually upgrading safety awareness and practices within the team.

Ensure compliance with the organization’s safety and security standards, procedures, and policies.
Team Development & Training

Identify, plan, and implement requisite training to ensure continued development of all team members, ensuring an adequately maintained skills inventory is in place.
Inventory & Housekeeping

Maintain cleanliness at shop and storage areas, ensuring they are well-stocked and organized following the Company’s color-coded program.

Maintain adequate inventories of tools, supplies, and parts to accurately repair all equipment.
Job Knowledge & Skills
-
Understanding of maintenance procedures, techniques, and best practices across various systems and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building maintenance.

Ability to diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and develop effective solutions to resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.

Capacity to lead and supervise maintenance teams, delegate tasks, and provide guidance and support to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.

Strong communication skills to effectively convey instructions, provide feedback, and liaise with staff, management, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Experience and proficiency in training maintenance staff on equipment operation, safety procedures, and maintenance best practices.

Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and experience in developing and implementing maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and prolong equipment lifespan.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Minimum 5 years working experience

3 years relevant working experience

2 years GCC experience is a plus
