Job Description

HVAC Technician – Chilled Water & DX Systems

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join our maintenance team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, with a strong background in both chilled water and DX systems.

Key Skills & Experience

Chilled Water Systems

• Skilled in handling chilled water systems, including chillers, AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs, chilled water pumps, control valves, and associated piping networks.

DX Systems

• Experienced in the maintenance and repair of DX systems, including split units, package units, VRF/VRV systems, and ducted split units.

Diagnostics & Fault Rectification

• Proficient in diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related faults.

• Experienced in refrigerant leak detection, pressure testing, evacuation, refrigerant charging, and system commissioning.

Maintenance & Reliability

• Capable of performing preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum equipment reliability and uptime.

Control Systems

• Experienced in troubleshooting HVAC control systems, thermostats, sensors, actuators, and BMS-integrated equipment.

Technical Interpretation

• Ability to interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and technical manuals for maintenance and installation activities.

Component Maintenance

• Skilled in compressor replacement, condenser and evaporator maintenance, motor servicing, and heat exchanger cleaning.

Safety & Compliance

• Familiar with HVAC safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and best maintenance practices.

Documentation

• Competent in preparing service reports, maintenance records, and asset condition assessments.

Teamwork & Independence

• Able to work independently and collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, clients, and multidisciplinary maintenance teams.
