Job Description

The Front Office Receptionist is responsible for creating a positive first impression by welcoming guests and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. This role provides excellent customer service, handles guest inquiries, and supports daily front office operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and perform check-in/check-out procedures efficiently.

  • Manage room reservations, modifications, and cancellations.

  • Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints professionally.

  • Process payments, maintain accurate billing, and issue invoices.

  • Answer telephone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.

  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate guest records using the hotel’s property management system.

  • Provide information about hotel servicesfacilities, and local attractions.

  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and professional at all times.

  • Follow hotel policiessafety procedures, and service standards.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in HospitalityTourism, or a related field (preferred).

Experience

  • Previous experience in front officereception, or customer service is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera is an advantage).

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.


Additional Information

  • Local transfer within Kuwait if possible.

  • Eligible to work in Kuwait with transferable residency (Article 18) , if applicable.

  • Available to join immediately or after the required notice period.

  • Willing to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
