Investment Analyst – Healthcare Sector
Investment Analyst jobs in Qatar and healthcare investment roles in the GCC are now available for experienced finance professionals. We are seeking an Investment Analyst to conduct financial, commercial, and market analysis for potential investment opportunities in the Healthcare sector, develop and maintain financial models and business cases to evaluate investment feasibility, returns, and associated risks, and support in preparing investment proposals, board papers, and presentations. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 8 years of working experience with 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, strong financial and business analysis skills with expertise in investment appraisal and valuation, knowledge of the Healthcare industry in Qatar/GCC and the MENA region, and proficiency in financial modeling, business case preparation, and data analysis with advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Job Responsibilities
Investment Analysis & Financial Modeling

Conduct financial, commercial, and market analysis for potential investment opportunities in the Healthcare sector.

Develop and maintain financial models and business cases to evaluate investment feasibility, returns, and associated risks.

Support in preparing investment proposals, board papers, and presentations for senior management and committees.
Due Diligence & Execution

Assist in the due diligence process (financial, legal, technical, and operational) for prospective investments and partnerships.

Coordinate with internal functions (Finance, Legal, Strategy, and Operations) and external advisors to support investment execution.
Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor the performance of existing investments, preparing periodic performance and variance reports.

Maintain a database of potential investment opportunities, ongoing projects, and portfolio performance metrics.
Market Research & Analysis

Conduct sector and competitor research, identifying emerging trends, risks, and opportunities relevant to Qatar Operations.

Prepare sensitivity, scenario, and risk analyses to support decision-making.
Strategic Initiatives

Contribute to special projects, strategy reviews, and portfolio optimization initiatives as directed by the Senior Investment Manager.
Job Knowledge & Skills
-
Strong financial and business analysis skills with expertise in investment appraisal and valuation.

Knowledge of the Healthcare industry in Qatar/GCC and the MENA region.

Proficiency in financial modeling, business case preparation, and data analysis.

Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with financial databases is a plus.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience

Minimum 8 years of working experience.

5 years in a relevant supervisory position.

2 years GCC experience is a plus.
