HR Generalist – Onboarding & Mobilisation

HR Generalist jobs in UAE and onboarding specialist roles in the Middle East are now available for experienced HR professionals. We are seeking an HR Generalist – Onboarding to assist with onboarding documentation, coordinate with external suppliers for UAE entry documents, support travel logistics for new hires, maintain accurate onboarding data in HR systems, and support the execution of onboarding events and welcome sessions. The ideal candidate has a Certificate in Human Resources or Equivalent Qualification with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role within an onboarding and mobilisation team, preferably in a large organisation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Taleo.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding documentation by coordinating data entry and follow-ups, ensuring compliance with documentation standards under guidance from the HR Coordinator/HR Specialist.

  • Support communication with junior-level new hires, confirming document submissions and providing standard onboarding instructions, including relocation and travel preparation.

  • Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure the necessary documents for entry to the UAE are arranged, available, and submitted on time.

  • Maintain accurate onboarding data in HR systems and trackers, ensuring compliance with data standards and smooth integration into internal systems.

  • Support the arrangement of travel logistics, including coordinating with travel partners for airport pickups, accommodation, and transport, ensuring cost-effective and timely travel planning for new hires.

  • Track pre-joining checklists for junior-level new hires and flag potential delays, providing timely updates to the HR Coordinator to ensure timely resolution.

  • Provide timely updates to the Talent Acquisition Specialist, ensuring stakeholders are informed with accurate lists of new hires and their onboarding statuses.

  • Support the execution of onboarding events, including supporting the logistics and coordination of welcome sessions, familiarization activities, and any other planned onboarding events for new hires.


Qualifications

Education

  • Certificate in Human Resources or Equivalent Qualification.

Work Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role within an onboarding and mobilisation team, preferably in a large organisation.

  • Experience in processing onboarding documentation and travel logistics for high volumes of new hires.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages and user competency in Taleo.

  • High standards of verbal and written communication.

  • Good planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
