Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of project delivery, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and contractual requirements.

This role requires strong leadership, financial management, stakeholder coordination, and technical expertise to manage multidisciplinary teams and deliver outstanding project outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop detailed project execution plans, including project scope, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and milestones.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address delays, risks, or operational challenges.
  • Control project costs by tracking expenditures, managing budgets, and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project contracts, monitor contractual obligations, and resolve commercial or contractual issues when required.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize operational, financial, and scheduling impacts.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, consultants, stakeholders, and senior management by providing accurate project updates and progress reports.
  • Promote a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental compliance across all project activities.
  • Review project performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend process improvements.
  • Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and resources.
  • Ensure project documentation, reports, approvals, and records are maintained accurately throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives and comply with Integrated Management System (IMS) policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Professional Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Membership in a recognized engineering or project management institution is an advantage.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of overall professional experience in construction or engineering projects.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or project management role.
  • Previous GCC construction project experience is preferred.
