Assistant Land Surveyor
Responsible for survey assistant set up, and occasionally operating a range of specialized surveying equipment. The Assistant Land Surveyor is also responsible for acquiring and storing all as-built from site.
Key Accountabilities
- Present survey work at site to the site engineer and site supervisor
- Operate a range of specialized surveying equipment including totalisations, level machine, prisms and electronic distance measuring equipment
- Arrange for the bench mark and reference’s point to be used at site.
- Report surveyor work progress to Sr. Land Surveyor on daily basis.
- Ensure work completion on time, and quality standards are maintained in accordance with all corporate policies and regulations.
- Ensure strict adherence of HSE policies and procedures set
- Report HSE incidents/violations etc. to superiors on time
- Strict adherence of legal requirements
