Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist – Immigration to manage employee mobility, immigration, visa eligibility, and work authorization processes for employees relocating to or travelling within Saudi Arabia.

The role will be responsible for supporting employees, business travelers, new hires, and their families throughout visa, residency, and onboarding processes. The successful candidate will work closely with immigration service providers, Public Relations Officers (PROs), government-related stakeholders, and internal HR teams to ensure all immigration and mobility activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable Saudi regulations.

This position also offers the opportunity to contribute to HR process improvement, digital transformation, automation, and the adoption of AI-enabled tools to enhance the efficiency and quality of HR and mobility operations.

Key Responsibilities

Immigration, Mobility & Visa Management

  • Manage end-to-end employee mobility, immigration, and visa processes for personnel relocating to Saudi Arabia.
  • Conduct visa eligibility assessments and ensure employees receive the appropriate work, business, travel, residency, or other required authorizations.
  • Support business travelers in obtaining the correct visas and documentation required for travel and business activities within the Kingdom.
  • Coordinate work permits, residency permits, immigration documentation, and related processes for employees and eligible family members.
  • Monitor immigration cases and ensure applications, renewals, and supporting documents are completed within required timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all employee immigration documentation is properly managed and confidentially stored.

Compliance & Government Coordination

  • Ensure immigration and mobility activities comply with applicable Saudi Arabian laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Support compliance with relevant employment and social insurance requirements, including GOSI-related processes.
  • Work closely with Public Relations Officers (PROs), external vendors, and service providers to manage immigration and government-related procedures.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and communicate relevant changes to internal stakeholders when required.
  • Identify potential compliance risks and take appropriate action to support timely resolution.

Employee Onboarding & Support

  • Guide expatriate and Saudi national employees through relevant onboarding and employment documentation processes.
  • Support new employees throughout their transition to ensure a smooth and well-coordinated start.
  • Provide guidance to employees and their families regarding immigration, residency, and relocation-related requirements.
  • Act as a key point of contact for mobility and immigration-related enquiries and provide timely, accurate support.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Build effective working relationships with immigration vendors, PROs, government service providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external service providers to ensure immigration cases are managed efficiently and in line with agreed service standards.
  • Establish and promote consistent processes and best practices across the mobility and immigration network.
  • Monitor service quality and identify opportunities to improve vendor performance and operational efficiency.

Process Improvement & HR Transformation

  • Review existing immigration and mobility processes and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve service delivery.
  • Support HR transformation initiatives through process optimization, automation, digital tools, and AI-enabled solutions where appropriate.
  • Contribute ideas that improve operational efficiency, employee experience, compliance, and service quality.
  • Help maintain continuity by sharing knowledge and supporting the development of junior team members.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Law, or a related field.
  • Experience in HR operations, employee mobility, immigration, visa processing, or government relations, preferably within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi immigration, work authorization, residency, and employee onboarding processes.
  • Familiarity with GOSI requirements and other relevant employment compliance procedures.
  • Experience coordinating with immigration service providers, government authorities, PROs, and external vendors.
  • Strong organizational and case management skills with the ability to manage multiple immigration and mobility requests simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with HR systems, digital platforms, workflow tools, or automation technologies will be an advantage.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
