Senior Sales Engineer – Modernization & Key Accounts
Senior Sales Engineer jobs in Kuwait’s elevator industry and Modernization Sales roles in the GCC are now available for experienced engineering sales professionals. We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead and develop mutually beneficial relationships between KONE and strategic customers in the Kuwait market, proactively identify solutions, and close deals that maximize profitability. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of Modernization Sales experience within the Elevator industry, holds a valid license from the Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) , and is a Grade-1 KFF (Kuwait Fire Force) membership holder.

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Senior Sales Engineer with a strong customer-focused mindset to be based in our Kuwait office and report directly to the Head of Sales for Kuwait.
In this role, you will lead and develop mutually beneficial relationships between KONE and customers that are strategic or nationally/locally important. You will proactively identify solutions and develop processes that add value to our customers. The Senior Sales Engineer’s role is to manage opportunities with current and new customers and close deals that meet customer needs while maximizing KONE’s order book and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic and key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and customer loyalty.

Sales & Business Development: Manage opportunities with current and new customers, identify business opportunities, and close deals that align with customer needs and company profitability targets.

Proposal & Negotiation: Prepare and deliver detailed sales proposals, including technical specifications, pricing, and timelines, and negotiate terms to secure agreements.

Market Intelligence: Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies, and share insights with the team.

Risk Management: Evaluate commercial and operational risks, and resolve customer complaints with the support of relevant stakeholders.
What Equips You for the Role

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred).

Experience: Minimum 5 years of Modernization Sales experience within the Elevator & Escalator industry is preferred.

Licensing & Memberships:

Valid license from the Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) (mandatory).

Grade-1 KFF (Kuwait Fire Force) membership holder (mandatory).

Mandatory: Kuwait experience is a must.

Languages: Excellent English communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Arabic language skills are an added advantage.

Attributes: Highly motivated, goal-oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with an orientation towards a high level of customer service. Passion for sales with a proven track record in handling Strategic Key Accounts and a strong customer focus.
