Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities across construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all engineering, civil, structural, and architectural works comply with project specifications, contractual requirements, applicable standards, and industry best practices. This role requires close coordination with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain exceptional quality throughout every stage of project execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise QA/QC activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain project quality plans, inspection procedures, and testing programs.
  • Review and control quality documentation including inspection reports, material approvals, calibration certificates, testing records, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and internal project teams.
  • Verify that only the latest approved drawings, method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and technical documents are used on site.
  • Remove obsolete or superseded documents from active project locations.
  • Prepare and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) for completed construction activities.
  • Perform internal inspections before requesting consultant inspections to minimize rejections.
  • Monitor inspection outcomes and implement corrective actions whenever quality issues are identified.
  • Investigate non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure corrective and preventive actions are completed.
  • Conduct quality toolbox talks and technical briefings for construction personnel.
  • Verify that all construction activities follow approved work methods and quality procedures.
  • Inspect incoming construction materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and approved material submissions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding rejected materials and maintain complete quality records.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality performance.
  • Prepare monthly QA/QC reports and maintain accurate project quality documentation.
