Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Clinical Nurse 1 to provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality clinical services, support patients and their families, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, clinical standards, and evidence-based nursing practices.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Practice

  • Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in accordance with established clinical guidelines and best practices.
  • Assess patients by identifying physical, emotional, and psychosocial healthcare needs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
  • Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in health status, and report significant findings promptly.
  • Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and prescribed treatments safely and accurately.
  • Perform routine clinical procedures including wound care, immunizations, phlebotomy, specimen collection, peripheral IV insertion, and other nursing interventions within scope of practice.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions when required.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Care Coordination & Collaboration

  • Work closely with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
  • Identify patient education needs and provide health promotion and disease prevention guidance.
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care based on patient assessments and clinical requirements.
  • Support continuity of care by ensuring effective communication during shift handovers.

Quality & Compliance

  • Follow established infection prevention, patient safety, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, clinical procedures, and local healthcare regulations.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality while complying with ethical and professional nursing standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical training programs.

  • Cultural awareness and the ability to care for diverse patient populations.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, is considered an advantage.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for nursing registration in Qatar.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional nursing experience in a hospital or clinical environment.
  • At least 1 year of GCC healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is an advantage where applicable.
