IT Manager – Hospitality Technology & Infrastructure
IT Manager jobs in hospitality and resort technology leadership roles in the UAE are now available for experienced IT professionals. We are seeking an IT Manager to lead the information technology function, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT systems that support both guest experience and operational excellence in a remote resort environment. The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years of IT experience, preferably within hospitality or resort environments, with strong knowledge of hospitality systems including Opera PMS and Micros POS, and experience in network administration, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity.
Role Overview
As IT Manager, you will lead the information technology function, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT systems that support both guest experience and operational excellence.
You will be responsible for managing all technology infrastructure across the resort, including networks, systems, property management systems, cybersecurity, and end-user support. This role is critical in a remote resort environment where technology stability directly impacts service delivery and guest satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
IT Operations & Infrastructure

Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all IT systems and infrastructure.

Ensure reliable operation of networks, servers, Wi-Fi, and telecommunications systems.

Manage hardware, software, and IT assets across the resort.

Ensure high system availability and rapid issue resolution.
Property Systems & Applications

Manage hospitality systems including PMS, POS, CRM, and back-office applications.

Ensure seamless integration between operational systems and finance, reservations, and guest services.

Support system upgrades, implementations, and troubleshooting.

Maintain data integrity and system performance.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection

Implement and maintain IT security policies and procedures.

Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and ensure regular security updates.

Ensure compliance with data protection standards and corporate IT policies.

Manage access controls and user permissions.
User Support & Service Delivery

Provide responsive IT support to all resort departments.

Manage helpdesk operations and incident resolution processes.

Train staff on systems, tools, and digital processes.

Ensure smooth onboarding of employees into IT systems.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management

Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.

Oversee procurement of IT equipment and software.

Coordinate with regional and corporate IT teams for standards and compliance.

Ensure cost-effective IT operations and contract management.
Project Management & Innovation

Lead IT-related projects including pre-opening setup and system rollouts.

Support digital transformation initiatives within the resort.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance guest and operational experience.

Ensure scalability and future-readiness of IT infrastructure.
Qualifications
Experience
-
5–8+ years of IT experience, preferably within hospitality or resort environments.

Experience in pre-opening or remote operational environments highly desirable.
Technical Knowledge

Strong knowledge of hospitality systems ( Opera PMS, Micros POS, etc.).

Experience in network administration, infrastructure management, and IT support.

Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection standards.
Certifications
-
IT certifications ( Cisco, Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA , etc.) advantageous.
Education
-
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Core Competencies

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote or multi-site environment.
