HRIS Specialist
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced HRIS Specialist to manage and optimize our Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining HR data integrity, supporting HR technology platforms, improving system efficiency, and providing technical expertise across HR processes. This role works closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, seamless system functionality, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer HR information systems, ensuring accurate employee data and system performance.
- Monitor data quality and implement measures to improve data accuracy and reduce manual entry errors.
- Collaborate with HR Operations, IT, and business stakeholders to streamline HR processes and enhance system efficiency.
- Gather business requirements, perform gap analyses, and recommend system enhancements that align with organizational needs.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize HRIS modules, workflows, business rules, and system settings.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute system testing for upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations.
- Provide technical support by diagnosing system issues, resolving user inquiries, and escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics for management decision-making.
- Support HR data management related to employee records, compensation, benefits, organizational structures, and employee lifecycle activities.
- Coordinate with technical teams to review system updates, recommend improvements, and implement approved solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HR standards, and data privacy requirements.
- Manage HR system security, user access, permissions, and approval workflows.
- Review and process system access requests while maintaining security logs and audit records.
- Develop and maintain user guides, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR technology utilization through automation and process optimization.
- Participate in HRIS implementation, integration, migration, and continuous improvement projects.
- Provide training and guidance to HR users and other stakeholders on HRIS functionality and best practices.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors, including:
- Employee Central (EC)
- Learning Management System (LMS)
- Recruiting Management (RCM)
- Onboarding
- Offboarding
- Succession Planning
- Career Development
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working with HR data, reporting, and workforce analytics.
- Knowledge of HRIS implementation, configuration, and system enhancement projects.
- Understanding of HR system integrations using APIs and middleware technologies.
- Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, policies, and business processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of overall professional experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on HRIS or HR technology experience.
- Previous GCC experience is considered an advantage.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and SAP ERP is required.
- Relevant HRIS, SAP, or SuccessFactors certifications are highly desirable.
