Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations and ensure the efficient functioning of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems. The successful candidate will supervise maintenance teams, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities, minimize equipment downtime, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. This role is critical in maintaining operational continuity, managing maintenance resources, and supporting business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance technicians to ensure timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and resolve maintenance issues to minimize operational downtime.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance programs for equipment, facilities, and operational systems.
• Inspect machinery, equipment, and facilities to identify defects, safety hazards, and maintenance requirements.
• Monitor maintenance performance and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Maintain adequate inventories of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies to support uninterrupted operations.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to complete maintenance projects effectively.
• Prepare maintenance reports, work orders, equipment records, and service documentation.
• Train, mentor, and develop maintenance staff while promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
• Ensure workshops and storage areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and reduce operating costs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building maintenance systems.
• Solid understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in maintenance planning, reporting, and inventory management.

Experience Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of overall maintenance experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory maintenance role.
• GCC experience (minimum 2 years) is preferred and will be considered an advantage.
